AI Engineer

Due to continued growth, The InterProse Corporation is looking for the next great addition to our team. The AI Engineer helps design and build practical AI-powered tools used both internally and in customer-facing features within our ACE platform. This role focuses on applying modern AI models (LLMs) to real-world workflows, including prompt-driven tools, AI agents, and automation systems that improve productivity and expand product capabilities. What skills can you bring to the InterProse team?
• 0–3 years of software development or AI-related experience with strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with Python, Java, or TypeScript and building applications using APIs
• Interest in developing real-world AI applications using modern LLMs and automation tools
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, structured outputs, or AI workflows (OpenAI or similar APIs preferred)
• Understanding concepts such as embeddings, semantic search, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) is a plus
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred) and modern web or backend technologies
• Ability to build and iterate quickly through prototyping, testing, and refining solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with engineering and product teams
• Self-starter mindset with curiosity, ownership, and a focus on solving practical business problems

What will you be working on?
• Build AI-powered features such as document understanding, summarization, classification, and workflow automation
• Develop AI agents and prompt-driven systems that analyze data, generate structured outputs, and assist users
• Create internal tools that improve productivity, including developer assistants and support automation tools
• Prototype new AI capabilities, evaluate model performance, and iterate on prompt and workflow design
• Integrate AI features into existing systems and applications alongside engineering teams
• Monitor performance, quality, and cost of AI systems and continuously improve outputs through testing and evaluation
